Four units from a previous production run of CosmicPi units were re-fitted into transportable rugged cases for the Transglobal Car Expedition.

As can be seen in the video above, not all CosmicPi units are fully functional yet, three units requiring further work:
Erebus works.
Vera works intermittently. It reboots frequently due to an event rate which is too high. This is probably because the DAC threshold, i.e. the amplitude at which a signal is considered viable, is too low. It is too close to the noise level, leading to noise signals being counted as events.
Nobile may have faulty electronics. Both HV channels supplying voltage to the SiPM work fine.
Nansen (previously named Endurance) has a problem with the voltage supplied to one of the SiPMs (channel 2).
